Here We Go Again 9_9

I’m still catching up on this whole Crispin Glover situation, but as of right now, my thoughts are as such:

Why the hell do people feel the urge to use litigation as a threat when their egos are damaged? And why does this seem to be a problem for our little internet review community all of a sudden?

The first Big Wave I remember is the infamous Tommy Wiseau incident a few years back.  While that was … in a word … annoying, at least things were eventually settled and I went back to watching the Nostalgia Critic’s review of ‘The Room’ in peace.

Then Scott Shaw (I feel dirty even typing that assfister’s name).

And now Crispin Glover? WHAT IN THE FLYING FUCK!?!

These people remind me of a child in his backyard frying ants with a magnifying glass. They’re bigger, they’re more powerful, and they’ll snuff out whomever they please when it pleases them to do so.

Notice I didn’t count the lovely Mara Wilson in there.  She at least had the COMMON FUCKING SENSE to keep the threat of court out of everything. Also, she figured out that everything was all in good fun — and decided that joining in would be a lot better than watching everyone else play.  The entire WORLD could take a note out of Mara’s book, and believe me … we’d all be better people for it.

It pains me to see this kind of pettiness going on. I am ashamed to count myself among the same SPECIES as the persons perpetuating this bullshit.

As tempting as it is to set upon Glover like a starving dog upon a side of beef, we must resist the urge. We must take the high road at all costs, because those fuckers certainly WILL NOT.

Ven? If you find yourself reading this, know that you’re a classy lady with more talent than I should ever hope to possess. Also, you are awesome.  Fuck these bullies!!! FUCK THEM HARD!!!!!!
